Visitors swarm to the Memorial Balloon Field of Indianola by the thousands every summer. And they leave awestruck. The National Balloon Classic spans nine incredible days. More than 150 hot air balloons take to the skies in a burst of brilliant color as pilots from around the world test their skills in pursuit of points, prizes, and the championship titles.
While balloons always take center stage, there is so much more to enjoy at the National Balloon Classic! Take in live music each night on the TruBank Stage, feast on fabulous food as you stroll past the numerous food stands, and get ready to be blown away by special events such as Nite Glow, Fantastic Fireworks, and The Sky’s Alive Drone Show (see 2025 Schedule of Events for full details)!
