Feel the Whoosh!
There is nothing quite like seeing dozens of balloons inflate across Memorial Balloon Field, hearing the burners roar and watching the sky come alive with color.
Morning sessions give visitors a closer look at the competitive side of ballooning as pilots navigate toward targets and earn points through accuracy and skill. Evening sessions bring balloon flights, food vendors, live entertainment and special events to the field.
On select evenings, the Nite Glow® lights up the field as tethered balloons ignite their burners against the night sky. It is one of Indianola’s most memorable summer experiences.
